Zuma DIFC
Gate Village, DIFC · Japanese · ☎ +971 4 425 5660
Zuma has been Dubai's definitive business lunch venue since 2008 and nothing has displaced it. The Ebisu Business Lunch (AED 159 per person, Mon–Fri 12pm–3pm) is a masterclass in set menu design: warm miso soup, two premium starters chosen from a curated Ebisu menu, and a main from the robata grill or sashimi section. Optional wine pairing adds AED 95.
The key is what Zuma does to a guest's psychology. Walking into Zuma's sleek, buzzing DIFC space sends a clear signal: this person knows Dubai. The black cod in anticucho sauce (AED 165 à la carte) appears on the Ebisu menu; it's a dish that has closed more deals in Dubai than any PowerPoint. Service is polished without being theatrical, pacing is controlled, and you can usually be in and out in 75 minutes if the meeting requires it. Book at least 3 days ahead.
📅 Reserve at ZumaZuma DIFC's signature Japanese cuisine — the black cod and robata grills are particularly suited to business lunch settings.
Coya
Four Seasons Resort, Jumeirah Beach Rd · Peruvian · ☎ +971 4 316 9600
Coya's business lunch (Mon–Thu, 12:30pm–3:30pm) is Dubai's best value fine-dining set menu. Two courses for AED 140 per person, choosing from top à la carte highlights: the avocado and shiitake mushroom maki rolls are addictive, the sea bass ceviche is bright and clean, the Chilean sea bass croquettes are extraordinary. The stunning Peruvian interiors — dark wood, Incan motifs, the dramatic bar — make it one of the most visually impressive lunch venues in the city.
Coya works best for smaller groups (2–4 people) where the intimacy of the Peruvian flavours can be properly appreciated. The ceviche station is particularly useful as a talking point. Note: Coya is at Four Seasons Jumeirah, not DIFC — factor in travel time from the financial district (20 minutes by taxi).

BOCA
Gate Avenue, DIFC · Mediterranean · ☎ +971 4 323 1833
BOCA is the thinking person's business lunch. Dubai's most thoughtfully sustainability-focused fine dining restaurant — sourcing locally where possible, minimising waste, building relationships with UAE farmers — also happens to be a genuinely excellent restaurant. The three-course set lunch (AED 160) changes seasonally and typically features a bright vegetable-forward starter, a perfectly judged protein main (the pan-seared hammour with preserved lemon is a signature), and a dessert that's elegant without being excessive.
The Gate Avenue setting gives BOCA a slightly more intimate feel than Zuma — better for a sensitive conversation or a meeting where you want the guest to feel that you've made a considered, interesting choice rather than defaulted to the obvious. The natural wine list is exceptional and appropriately compact.
📅 Reserve at BOCABOCA at Gate Avenue, DIFC — Mediterranean sustainability-focused dining at one of Dubai's most thoughtful restaurants.
DIFC — Dubai's business lunch epicentre. Gate Village and Gate Avenue house more Michelin-calibre restaurants per block than almost anywhere in the region.
4–12: More Business Lunch Venues
Toro Toro
Richard Sandoval's pan-Latin American restaurant in DIFC is a favourite for informal but impressive business lunches. The energy is high, the food is rich and confident (wagyu empanadas AED 75, beef short rib AED 165), and the cocktail culture makes it excellent for deals that benefit from a looser atmosphere. The two-course lunch set (Mon–Fri) is strong value. Best for creative industry or hospitality sector meetings.
📅 Book a TableLa Serre Bistro & Boulangerie
La Serre's glass-ceiling conservatory in the heart of Downtown Dubai is one of the most aesthetically pleasing lunch settings in the city — all natural light and urban elegance. The French bistro menu is reliable and appropriate: steak frites (AED 145), bouillabaisse (AED 155), and classic French desserts. The two-course set lunch (AED 135, Mon–Fri) includes a glass of wine. Ideal for meetings where you want to impress without overwhelming.
📅 Book a TableScalini
The most elegant Italian business lunch in Dubai. Scalini at Four Seasons Jumeirah Beach Hotel is traditional Italian fine dining done with real care — handmade pastas (the black truffle tagliolini at AED 165 is exceptional), a beautifully curated wine list, and service that never makes you feel hurried. The three-course lunch (AED 180) is particularly well-suited to senior client entertaining where the impression of quality matters. Private dining rooms available for larger groups.
📅 Book a TableTrèsind Studio
For the deal that deserves the full statement, Trèsind Studio's Michelin-starred progressive Indian tasting menu at lunch (AED 280, 8 courses) is a conversation in its own right. Each course arrives with a story — the edible paan, the liquid chaat, the recreated Mumbai street snacks — and guests who haven't experienced it are invariably captivated. Reserve the private room for groups of 6–10. Two to three weeks' advance booking required.
📅 Book a TableMiss Lily's
Miss Lily's brings downtown New York's coolest Jamaican restaurant to DIFC, and the result is one of the most fun business lunches in the city. Jerk chicken (AED 95), rum punch (AED 65), reggae soundtrack, and a menu that's confidently different. Best for informal meetings in creative, tech, or media industries where being memorably cool matters more than being impressive. The oxtail (AED 115) is extraordinary.
📅 Book a TableRoka
Roka's contemporary Japanese robatayaki set lunch (AED 155 per person) is an excellent alternative to Zuma for guests who prefer lighter food. The charcoal-grilled salmon (AED 145 à la carte) and the yellowtail sashimi (AED 95) are beautiful. The restaurant is slightly more accessible than Zuma in terms of atmosphere — a touch quieter, marginally less theatrical — which works well when the conversation is more important than the spectacle.
📅 Book a TableCÉ LA VI
For clients visiting from abroad who want to understand what Dubai is about, CÉ LA VI at Address Sky View delivers the full picture. The set lunch (AED 165) comes with an unobstructed view of the Burj Khalifa from 53 floors up, and pan-Asian dishes — hamachi tartare (AED 125), black truffle dumplings (AED 135), yuzu cheesecake — that are genuinely excellent. The location does the talking before the food even arrives.
📅 Book a TableKcal
For the health-conscious business lunch — or when afternoon meetings demand that you're sharp rather than satisfied — Kcal's precise nutrition-tracked meals are genuinely good. The brown rice bowls (AED 65), the grilled chicken wraps (AED 58), and the protein shakes are excellent. No set menus, but fast service and the calorie counts displayed make ordering effortlessly professional for guests managing nutrition.
📅 Book a Table💼 Business Lunch Booking Tips for Dubai
Book all DIFC restaurants a minimum of 3–5 days ahead for weekday lunches. The 1pm–2pm window is the most competitive; request 12:30pm or 2:30pm if you can, and you'll get better table placement and more attentive service. For private dining rooms at Zuma, Coya, or Scalini, contact the restaurant directly — group reservations often include customised menus and dedicated service staff.
Social Company
Social Company occupies a smart corner in DIFC with good energy and a menu that covers contemporary European dishes without being difficult. It's the ideal choice when your guest might be picky — broad enough to accommodate dietary requirements, smart enough to feel premium, and priced at AED 150 for three courses. The Caesar salad (AED 65) is a genuine standard-setter, and the beef tenderloin (AED 195 à la carte) always impresses.
