There is nowhere in Dubai quite like the Palm. The world's most famous man-made island stretches into the Arabian Gulf like an outstretched hand โ 17 fronds of luxury villas, a trunk of high-rises, and a crescent of six-star hotels at its tip. But beyond the architecture and the real estate hype, the Palm Jumeirah has quietly become home to Dubai's most extraordinary dining experiences. Nobu has been here since 2008. Ossiano โ where you eat surrounded by a 2.7 million litre aquarium โ is consistently ranked among the best restaurants in the Middle East. Nammos flew in from Mykonos. Gordon Ramsay opened his Bread Street Kitchen. The list goes on.
We've spent years eating our way around the Palm โ long lunches at 101 Dining Lounge with the Dubai skyline behind us, tasting menus at Ossiano that lasted four hours and tasted like a dream, afternoons at Drift Beach that stretched into sunset cocktails with no plan to leave. This guide is the product of that obsessive, delicious research. Whether you're here for one special dinner or planning a week's worth of meals, this is everything you need to know about eating on Palm Jumeirah.
Know Your Palm
The Palm divides into four distinct dining zones. Where you eat determines what you experience.
๐ฐ The Crescent
The outer ring of the Palm, home to Atlantis The Palm and One&Only The Palm. This is where you'll find Nobu, Ossiano, Bread Street Kitchen, and Seafire. Uber or the Palm Monorail to get here. The most spectacular restaurants are all in this zone.
๐ฅ๏ธ Club Vista Mare
A purpose-built cluster of over-water restaurants at the tip of the Palm trunk. Bice Mare, Matto, Sea Fu, Ting Irie and more โ all built on platforms over the sea with extraordinary views back to the Dubai Marina skyline. The most scenic lunch spot on the Palm.
๐๏ธ The Fronds
The residential spine of the Palm, quieter and more local. Nakheel Mall on the trunk has a food court and casual dining. The Pointe at the tip of the trunk is an outdoor dining destination with over 30 restaurants facing the Atlantis view.
๐ The Trunk
The main road into the Palm, lined with towers, hotels, and a growing dining scene. Tiara Residences, Golden Mile Galleria, and The Shoreline all have restaurants worth visiting, including some of the Palm's best value casual dining and cafรฉs.

Nobu โ Atlantis The Palm
Nobu Matsuhisa changed global fine dining with his Japanese-Peruvian fusion, and his Atlantis outpost delivers that vision at its full cinematic glory. The space is enormous โ 410 seats across indoor and outdoor terraces โ yet it manages to feel intimate. The black cod with miso (AED 185) remains one of the great restaurant dishes of our time: lacquered, yielding, with a sweetness that lingers long after you've finished. The yellowtail jalapeรฑo (AED 145) is electric. Order the omakase tasting menu (AED 595pp) if you want Nobu's kitchen to do the thinking โ it's the right call, every time. Reserve 2โ3 weeks ahead for weekend tables.
Ossiano โ Atlantis The Palm
Ossiano may be the most extraordinary restaurant setting in the Middle East. Chef Gregoire Berger's tasting menu unfolds across 10+ courses while you sit surrounded by a 2.7 million litre Ambassador Lagoon aquarium โ sharks glide past, rays drift by, schools of fish part around the glass. But this isn't a gimmick restaurant. The food is genuinely world-class: delicate, technically precise, built around exceptional ingredients. The 10-course Discovery Menu (AED 995pp) is the definitive Dubai fine dining experience. Book the aquarium-side tables and arrive early to watch the divers feed the fish. Reserve 3โ4 weeks ahead.
Nammos Dubai โ Five Palm Jumeirah
The Mykonos original spawned a global empire of beautiful people and exceptional Greek food, and the Dubai outpost at Five Palm Jumeirah is its finest expression outside Greece. The whole grilled sea bream (AED 245) comes to the table with lemon and herbs, and it tastes exactly as the sea bream in a Mykonos harbour taverna tastes โ which is very high praise indeed. The lobster pasta (AED 320) is the order if you're feeling indulgent. The terrace here is one of Dubai's great theatrical spaces: you're floating above the beach, watching the sun drop into the Gulf, cocktail in hand. The Friday Brunch (AED 425pp including beverages) is legendary.
Bread Street Kitchen โ Atlantis The Palm
Gordon Ramsay's casual-luxe brasserie at Atlantis strips away the pretension of his Michelin-starred restaurants and delivers something arguably better: proper comfort food executed with exceptional kitchen discipline. The beef Wellington here (AED 285, serves two) has converted people who thought they didn't like beef Wellington. The lobster thermidor (AED 395) is a masterclass in classical cookery. Don't overlook the Sunday Roast โ a full-spread of carved roasts, Yorkshire puddings, and perfect roast potatoes (AED 210pp) that is probably the best Sunday lunch in Dubai. The bar programme is serious; the Bread Street Old Fashioned (AED 65) is worth the trip alone.
101 Dining Lounge & Bar โ One&Only The Palm
101 is exactly what a luxury resort restaurant should be: effortlessly beautiful, with food that actually justifies the setting. Perched over the water at One&Only The Palm with an uninterrupted view of the Dubai Marina skyline across the Gulf, it's impossible to have a bad evening here. The branzino (whole grilled, AED 235) is as good as any fish dish we've eaten in Dubai. The Wagyu beef burger (AED 145) at lunch is something of a hidden gem. Request a terrace table for dinner โ the skyline view after dark is spectacular โ and leave time for cocktails on the adjacent 101 Beach Club pier.
By Zone: Every Dining Destination on the Palm
Atlantis The Palm โ The Crown Jewel
Home to 7 full restaurants and multiple bars โ a self-contained food city at the tip of the crescent
Atlantis The Palm opened in 2008 and immediately rewrote Dubai's culinary ambitions. The hotel houses an extraordinary collection of restaurants that spans from casual poolside dining to some of the most technically accomplished cooking in the Middle East. Here is what matters most:
Nobu โ The flagship. Japanese-Peruvian fusion from chef Matsuhisa that defined modern Dubai fine dining. See our full review for everything you need to know. Book 3 weeks ahead. Ossiano โ The underwater masterpiece. Chef Gregoire Berger's 10-course tasting menu surrounded by 2.7 million litres of ocean life is a once-in-Dubai experience. Bread Street Kitchen โ Gordon Ramsay's brasserie does Sunday roast better than anywhere in the city. Seafire Steakhouse & Bar โ 500ยฐC Josper grill, prime Australian and American beef, one of Dubai's finest dedicated steakhouses (AED 400โ650pp). Saffron โ The best hotel buffet in Dubai, with a live kitchen cooking authentic Indian curries, breads, and biryanis (AED 175โ220pp).
Club Vista Mare โ Over-Water Dining
Six restaurants built on platforms over the sea โ the best lunch spot on the Palm
Club Vista Mare sits at the tip of the Palm trunk, and it's the closest Dubai has to an over-water restaurant village. Six independent venues, each with its own personality, all sharing the same extraordinary 360ยฐ views of the Gulf and the Dubai Marina skyline. Bice Mare is the anchor โ Italian seafood of exceptional quality, with a risotto di mare (AED 195) that deserves its legendary status. Sea Fu handles Asian seafood with a menu that shifts between Japanese, Thai, and Chinese influences. Matto is the late-night option, with decent pizzas and a DJ set that runs till 2am. Ting Irie brings Caribbean cooking to the Palm โ jerk chicken (AED 115), curried goat (AED 125), and rum cocktails on a terrace that faces straight west into the sunset.
The Pointe โ The Sunset Strip
30+ restaurants at the tip of the trunk facing the Atlantis fountain show
The Pointe is a crescent-shaped outdoor mall at the tip of the Palm trunk, and its restaurants face the famous Atlantis view and fountain show. Quality varies โ this is a tourist-heavy destination โ but the setting more than compensates. Seรฑor Pico does the best Mexican on the Palm (tacos AED 55โ75). Publique is the go-to for burgers and craft beer with the best patio in the complex. Scarletts handles brunch on Fridays with a crowd that spills onto the promenade. For the fountain show, arrive by 7pm, get a table facing the water, and order drinks while you wait. The show runs every 30 minutes from 7pm.

Palm Jumeirah Dining: Your Questions Answered
What is the best restaurant on Palm Jumeirah for a special occasion?
Ossiano at Atlantis The Palm is the definitive answer โ the 10-course tasting menu surrounded by a 2.7 million litre aquarium is unlike any other dining experience in the Middle East. For a more sociable special occasion, Nobu's omakase is the second choice. Both require reservations 3โ4 weeks ahead for weekend dates.
How do I get to restaurants on Palm Jumeirah without a car?
The Palm Monorail connects the crescent (Atlantis stop) to the Gateway Towers (AED 15 one-way, runs 6amโ11pm). For The Pointe and Club Vista Mare, take the monorail to the Gateway and then a short taxi or Uber. RTA taxis and Uber/Careem operate freely across the Palm. Allow extra time Friday evenings when traffic on the main trunk road can be heavy.
Are Palm Jumeirah restaurants worth the premium price?
The best ones absolutely are. Ossiano, Nobu, and 101 Dining Lounge rank among the finest dining experiences in the entire Gulf region โ the combination of world-class food, extraordinary settings, and impeccable service justifies the cost on truly special occasions. Mid-range restaurants like Bread Street Kitchen and Bice Mare offer excellent value given the context. Only avoid the mediocre tourist-trap venues at The Pointe if you're working with a limited budget.
What is the best brunch on Palm Jumeirah?
Nammos Friday Brunch (AED 425pp including house beverages) is the most coveted. Drift Beach Brunch offers the best outdoor/beach setting. Saffron at Atlantis delivers the most extraordinary food value โ a lavish Indian/International spread at AED 175โ220pp that rivals restaurants charging twice the price.
When should I visit Palm Jumeirah for the best dining experience?
October to April is the peak season โ cool enough to enjoy outdoor terraces fully. Sunset dining is exceptional NovemberโFebruary when temperatures sit around 22โ25ยฐC. Summer (JuneโSeptember) sees most outdoor terraces close or restrict hours, though air-conditioned restaurants like Ossiano and Nobu remain excellent year-round. Friday evenings and Saturday lunch are the Palm's busiest dining times โ book at least 2 weeks ahead for popular venues.
