Atlantis The Royal opened in late 2023 as the largest hotel-restaurant launch in Dubai's history. Twelve dining concepts. Six headline-celebrity-chef partnerships. A property F&B portfolio designed to compete on its own with anywhere in the city.
Two-and-a-half years in, the picture is more complicated. As of April 2026, Atlantis announced the temporary pause of seven venues across both Atlantis hotels — four of them at the Royal: Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, La Mar by Gastón Acurio, Ling Ling, and Cloud 22. Eight Royal venues remain open and operating.
We've eaten at every Atlantis Royal venue across 2024–26. This page is the master guide: every restaurant ranked, current status flagged clearly, must-orders listed, and a clear answer to 'is this place worth the AED 800-for-two booking?'.

Four temporarily paused: Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, La Mar by Gastón Acurio, Ling Ling, and Cloud 22.
Why did Atlantis pause four restaurants in April 2026?
Atlantis described the pause as part of a portfolio review aligned with guest demand and operational consolidation. Reopening timelines have not been announced. The pauses are notable — Dinner by Heston had won TimeOut's Best European 2026 weeks before being paused.
What's the best restaurant at Atlantis The Royal right now?
Estiatorio Milos for the most disciplined kitchen (whole-fish Greek seafood). Carbone for the highest energy and the city's best Italian. Ariana's for the most refined Persian. Nobu by the Beach for value (lunch set AED 195pp).
How do I book Atlantis Royal restaurants?
All open venues use SevenRooms and the Atlantis Royal central concierge. Carbone and Estiatorio Milos book 3–4 weeks ahead for Friday/Saturday; the rest 1–2 weeks. Resonance books 4–6 weeks ahead.
Is parking complimentary?
Yes — Atlantis Royal valet is complimentary for diners (4 hours validation).

How does Atlantis Royal compare to Atlantis The Palm?

Can non-hotel-guests dine at Atlantis Royal restaurants?
Yes — all dining venues are open to non-guests. Gastronomy day-pass and Cloud 22 day-pass (when reopened) are also available to non-guests.
